A Song. A Map. An Invitation.
Every verse is a doorway.
"Soul Contract" is not just a song — it is a transmission. Each verse describes a moment you may already recognize: the waking, the call, the ride, the map, the destination. Follow it all the way to Diamond Island and you will understand what it means to Find the Force.

Verse One — The Waking
So you wake up one morning
To the touch of a hand
And it wasn't your cellphone
Sitting on the nightstand
It was something so ancient
Sent a chill up your wrist
Then when you see it
You got your name on the list
Chorus
It was a Soul Contract
Soul Contract you will find
Soul Contract
And you've got to Change Your Mind
Verse Two — The Caddy of Light
So you throw on your sandals
And you grab your backpack
You know that you'll need it
For the Journey and Back
Then that's when you see her
Sitting in the moonlight
All whitewalls and sharkfins
She's a Caddy of Light
Chorus
It was a Soul Contract
Soul Contract you will find
Soul Contract
And you've got to Change Your Mind
Verse Three — The Ride
So you jump in beside her
And you buckle up tight
All dripping in turquoise
And glowing so bright
She flips back a switch
And you fly through the night
Holding onto that Paper
With your life on the line
Chorus
It was a Soul Contract
Soul Contract you will find
Soul Contract
And you've got to Change Your Mind
The Immersive Experience
Your Dashboard Lights Are On.
Do You Know What They Mean?
In the Soul Contract immersive training, students learn to read the four dashboard lights — the four distinct ways that Stress Is Expensive is showing up in their life, their body, and their work.
Just like the dashboard lights in your car, these signals are not failures — they are information. The training teaches you to speak the language of your own instrument panel.
Light 01
The Contract Light
The Invisible Agreement
This light activates when you are living under a story that was never yours to begin with — a belief about who you are, what you deserve, or what is possible that was handed to you before you had the language to question it. The contract is running the show. The first step is seeing it.
You may recognize this as
You keep hitting the same ceiling. The pattern repeats. You work harder and arrive at the same place.
Light 02
The Loop Light
The Recurring Pattern
This light activates when the same situation keeps appearing in different costumes — the same relationship dynamic, the same professional conflict, the same internal argument. The Loop is not bad luck. It is the contract asking to be read.
You may recognize this as
Different people, same story. Different job, same problem. Different year, same feeling.
Light 03
The Fuel Light
The Capacity Drain
This light activates when the cost of maintaining the old contract has exceeded your available energy. Stress is not just a feeling — it is a financial leak. Every unread dashboard light is drawing from a reserve you cannot afford to keep depleting.
You may recognize this as
You are exhausted in ways that sleep does not fix. You are performing but not replenishing.
Light 04
The Compass Light
The Direction Signal
This light activates when you are moving — but not toward the destination you actually chose. The Compass light is not a warning. It is an invitation to orient. To ask: is this the direction I would choose if I were choosing freely?
You may recognize this as
You are busy, productive, and successful — and something still feels fundamentally off-course.
The Training
This Is an Interactive, Immersive Experience.
The Soul Contract training is not a lecture. It is a guided experience — part sound journey, part somatic work, part executive framework — designed to help students locate their own contract, name their active dashboard lights, and begin the renegotiation.
Students leave with a language for what has been happening — and a map for where they are going.
What Is the Soul Contract?
THE AGREEMENT BENEATH THE AGREEMENT
Every person is operating under a set of invisible agreements — about who they are, what they deserve, what is possible, and what is required of them. These agreements were not chosen consciously. They were absorbed. From family systems, cultural conditioning, early experiences, and the stories we were told about ourselves before we could evaluate them.
The Soul Contract is not a metaphor. It is a functional map of the beliefs, loyalties, and unspoken rules that govern behavior from the inside out. It shows up in the patterns that repeat. In the relationships that mirror each other. In the ceiling that keeps appearing no matter how hard you work.
The Compass calls this the NORTH Key — the invisible contract driving the system. The Soul Contract work is how you find it, read it, and decide whether to keep it.
"Most people are not living their own life. They are living the life the contract prescribed. The first act of freedom is reading the fine print."
— Dr. Courtni StarHeart Hale
THREE DIMENSIONS OF THE CONTRACT
01
The Original Agreement
What was the first story you were handed about who you are and what you are here to do? Most people are still living it.
02
The Loyalty Bind
Many contracts are held in place not by belief but by loyalty — to a parent, a lineage, a community. Leaving the contract can feel like betrayal. It is not.
03
The Renegotiation
A contract can be rewritten. Not by willpower or positive thinking — but by seeing it clearly, understanding its origin, and consciously choosing something different.
The Invitation
You Already Know the Way.
You Just Need to Read the Map.
The Force is not something you acquire. It is something you uncover — by reading the contract you have been living under and deciding, for the first time, whether you agree.
Diamond Island is not a place. It is the life that becomes available when the old contract no longer runs the show.
The Work
THE WORK IS NOT ABOUT FIXING YOU.
It is about reading the contract you have been living under — and deciding, for the first time, whether you agree.
The Foundation
ANCIENT MAPS. CONTEMPORARY QUESTIONS.
The Soul Contract framework draws on Dr. Courtni Hale's doctoral work in Transpersonal Psychology, her study of family systems and intergenerational transmission, and more than twenty-five years of ceremonial and experiential work with individuals navigating major life transitions.
Concepts from attachment theory, narrative psychology, and nervous-system science offer a contemporary language for what traditional cultures have always known: that the stories we inherit shape the lives we live — and that those stories can be changed.
The old traditions gave us maps. Modern research gives us another language for exploring the terrain. The Soul Contract sits at the intersection of both.
